Join one of our Spring groups of bodyshapers and you could win up to $1000.  Winner will be picked on overall improvements in the following areas:  Before/After photo, Weight Loss, Body Fat Loss, Inches Lost, Flexibility Improvements, Push Up Improvements, and Sit Up Improvements.

*Actual prize money is determined by the number of people who enter our Spring groups.  The prize money will not exceed $1000 and could be less.  Winner will be determined by the owner of Champions and is based on objective scores and your Before/After photo.  To be in the contest, you must have a Champions' staff member take your Before picture within a few days of the start of your group.  A staff member must also take your After photo within a few days of the ending of your group.  All contest members must sign the model release form before any pictures will be taken.  All photos become the property of Champions'.  Only photos taken by staff members at Champions' will be accepted for the contest.

Wow!  Our groups are doing awesome.  I was checking attendance and there are several people who are leading the pack with 5 and 6 days a week attendance.  Some of you are even coming multiple times a day!!!  Be careful that you don't burn yourself out...but way to go on pushing yourself to get the best results that you can get.  We have heard some great stories of inches lost and weight lost for the last two groups.

If you are struggling, keep your head high.  It's not over until you give up.  Everyday is a new day and a new chance to start fresh!!!

Group 42 is on Their Way
Our latest group just started their ten week journey.  They are off to a great start as they punch and kick their way to a better body!  They are also the first group to experience our email support campaign.  Every few days they receive a new motivational email to help them keep their focus throughout the day.  This is in addition to the support letters and personal mentor that they receive.  It's just one more way that we are doing whatever we can to help you reach your fitness goals!

Super Size Me!
Have you seen this movie yet?  If not, MSNBC has been running it the past couple of nights.  It's a movie, that after you watch it, will help you stay on track with your fitness goals.  I strongly recommend giving this movie a viewing.  It's a real eye opener!!!

Good Luck Group #41
That's right, today we started group #41.  Champions' first started offering a bodyshaping in January of 2003.  We are entering our fourth year and will see our 50th group this year!

NEW YEAR, NEW YOU!
It's a whole new year!  Our bodyshaping course is going into it's fourth year!!!  During this time we have put 40 groups of people, nearly 1000 people through our bodyshaping course.  We have had the distinct privilege and honor to have been an integral part of helping people get their life back.  So hear we are on the verge of another year.  What kind of a year will it be for you?

It's a whole new year, and the chance for a whole new you!  Forget any failures of the past.  It's your time to shine.  It's your time to reclaim what has been eluding you.  It's time for YOU!!!

Make the firm commitment to make positive changes in your life all throughout 2007.  Make "I'm getting my life back!" your mantra.  When you feel like reaching for the foods that are not healthy for you, say to yourself, "I'm getting my life back".  When you feel like putting off exercise, say out loud, "I'm getting my life back."  When you feel like you are overwhelmed and that everything in your life is spinning out of control, go outside and shout at the top of your lungs, "I'm getting my life back!"  Keep saying this.  Believe in it.  Act upon it!!!

Life gets out of control one very small step at a time.  First, we had a bad day at work, all we want to do it relax.  One day of relaxing isn't going to hurt.  The next day we get in a fight with our significant other and we reach for the comfort food.  We rationalize that it's better than feeling bad.  It's a quick relief, a quick high.  The next day we have plans to go to lunch with our best friend.  But we can always order a salad.  We get there, smell the good food.  Our friend says, "Come on, live a little bit!"  And we order a fried appetizer and chicken alfredo instead.

Slowly, choice by choice, our life starts to slip away.  We don't even notice it at first.  But overtime, our clothes don't fit as good and we notice curves where there never were curves.  And so it begins. It's the beginning of the end.  The end of you, as you once new you to be.

So how do you turn back the clock?  How do you recapture that which was you?  How do get your life back?

It's simple really.  You get it back the same way that it slipped away.  One choice at a time.  The choice to eat better.  The choice to exercise daily.  The choice to fight for you!  The more choices you make, the easier it is to stick to your choices.  The more choices you stick to, the closer you get to getting your life back.

So what are you going to do?  Let's make a choice right now, even if it's a small, seemingly insignificant choice.  Make a choice to recapture what was once you!

Leverage
Staying focused in the Bodyshaping program is often the result of gaining leverage.  Leverage is weight or power that drives you to do what you want to do.  The key to understanding leverage is to realize that it all resides in your head.  That means that you can gain leverage simply by learning how to think differently.  So what makes you want to stick to the program?  Is it fitting into clothes that no longer fit?  Is it the way that you feel when your body is healthier?  Is it the admiration you get from others when you are in better shape?  Is it the relief you feel knowing that you can do every day tasks with greater ease?  Is it that you want to avoid negative comments, looks, and stares?  You probably can gain leverage from many of the above questions as well as even more of your own.  Once you find out what gives you leverage, keep it fresh in your mind.  If you used to be in better shape and have a picture of that, look at every morning when you first get up.  If you have clothes that you want to fit into, every few days try them on and see if they fit.  When they don't, remind yourself to stay focused so that they will.  If they are starting to fit, keep working towards your goal because you are almost there.

You will find that you will have to change what motivates you from day to day.  The more leverage that you have, the easier it is to stick to the program.  If the pain of failing (feeling unhealthy, not fitting into clothes, looking fat, etc)  is greater than the pain of succeeding (exercising and eating right even when you find that difficult to do) than you will have gained enough leverage to give you momentum!!!

New Group Starting Monday
Monday September 25th is the start of our new group.  It's not too late to get signed up.  Remember, if you have already taken our bodyshaping class in the past, your cost is only $254!  If you are just finishing your 10 week program and want to jump right into this next group, your cost is only $239!!!

Lance to Return to the Schedule
As many of you know, Lance has been off of the cardio schedule for quite some time to nurse a hip injury.  Starting back on September 25th, he will resume teaching some of the night time cardio classes.

Well Wishes
We want to thank Lara Camber for her involvement as an Instructor over the past year.  Although she may still sub for an instructor she will no longer be a regular instructor.  We wish her the best!

New Instructors

Off to a Great Start

Our latest group of bodyshapers are off to a great start as they are rounding out week #2 of the program.  We want to congratulate all of the new bodyshapers for making a decision to come into this program.  We know that the program can take you where you want to go.  The most important thing that you can do, is allow the program to work for you.  Don't try to change the way that the program is designed to be done.  Don't try to make improvements on it.  Just follow it.  And the closer that you follow it, the better your results will be.  If you truly follow all aspects of the program, the different elements will begin to interact with each other.  You will burn calories during the fitness kickboxing classes.  You will build lean muscle during strengthening classes.  The nutritional guideline will give your body the fuel it needs to make these types of changes.  The motivational support will pick you up when you fall down.  More lean muscle means your metabolic rate will go up.  This means you are going to burn calories faster.  It all works together!  So relax, we have the road map for you, you just have to follow it!

Evaluations:  What Are They For?

With evaluations coming up this Friday, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of the importance of them.  I think that many people view evaluations as an indication of their success of failure.  It's important to remember this quote, "It's impossible to fail, if we never give up!"   The Evaluation is not a point of success or failure, it is simply a measurement.  And it's what we do with that measurement that will make all the difference in the world.  If the measurement is going in the direction that we like, than keep doing what you are doing.  Maybe even try to do what you are doing better (like making it 6 days to class instead of 5, or follow the food program more closely all 6 days without fault).  If you don't like the direction you are going, then you need to change something...like coming to class everyday and following the food program.

Hey!  No one is going to blame you or make you feel bad if you aren't following the program.  You do enough of that to yourself already.  Our role is to be here for you when you decide that you want to get the results that you are hoping for.  I believe from the very bottom of my heart, that if you stay focused, stay on the program, you will get to where you want to go.  I know it's not easy.  For some of you, it may be the hardest thing that you have ever done.  But it's not impossible.  Hundreds of people, people just like you, have figured out a way to make it work for them.  Remember, "It's impossible to fail, if you never give up!"   Don't give up on yourself, because we haven't given up on you!!!

Evaluations

Evaluations are this Friday.  Come to class like you normally would at the normal time.  However class time will be devoted to doing your evaluations and recognizing those that are finishing their ten week program.

Want to be an Instructor?

Do you know that every instructor that teaches at Champions, has at one time been a regular client in the class just like you?  Well it's true!  And every instructor, in the beginning, has had reservations about teaching.  Most people could not imagine themselves being in front of a group of people and leading the class.  But if you are passionate about the bodyshaping class, then you have the most important component to being a great instructor.  The rest can be learned through our instructor training program.

We are always looking to train new instructors.  If you think that you may have an interest, all you have to do is talk to Lance to find out what is involved.  We only train people who have come from our program because we know how important it is for all of our instructors to know what it is like to be in a 10 week class.

It doesn't cost anything to do our instructor training, and if you become an scheduled instructor you get paid to teach the class!

NEW GROUP STARTING AUGUST 21ST!

We have our 37th group starting on August 21st.  The group runs for 10 weeks and includes classes in fitness kickboxing and strength training.  We teach you how to follow a simple nutritional guideline and help provide the motivation to stay on track.  It's a very dynamic and directed program that helps you get the fastest results in the shortest amount of time.  It's safe and effective and the next class starts on August 21st!

BEST MEASUREMENT FOR RESULTS

Better than the scale!  Better than the tape measure!  It's your own hands on your body.  Get used to what your body feels like.  Run your hands all over your body.  Where are the curves and bulges.  As you go through the program, feel your body on a regular basis.  Everyone gets into shape a little differently.  Some people drop weight right away.  Some drop inches immediately.  Some people have to wait a few weeks to measure a result.  But everyone who eats right and exercises daily begins to feel better immediately.  This is both emotionally and physically.  I call it the hands test.  And you should give yourself a thorough examination every couple of days.  Imagine your motivation surge as you feel firmness in place of flabbiness, and toned definition where once lied unwanted curves.

WINNER ANNOUNCED

Congratulations to Katharine Chou of Neenah who is our most recent winner of our 10 Week Bodyshaping Course Drawing.  This drawing was held in conjunction with the Bridal Show that was held at Bridgewood Resort and Conference Center in late July.  Katharine will receive a free 10 week program!!!

WHEN ALL THE STARTS ALIGN

The CBC program works and works well!  So what is it that makes it work?  It's not coming to class six days a week.  It's not following the nutritional guideline.  It's not working really hard.  It's not sticking with it for 10 weeks in a row.  It's not drinking your 10 glasses of water per day.  It's not any one of these things!  IT'S ALL OF THEM!  When you follow the program the way it is designed to be followed, all of the elements begin to work together to produce dramatic results.  Focus yourself to follow the plan on a regular basis and you will begin to see results!!!
